This year Silverstein are celebrating their 20th anniversary, a rare milestone for any band but even more impressive for one that’s been as consistently active, influential, and crowd-pleasing as the Ontario-based post-hardcore legends. To mark the occasion the always forwarding-thinking group has announced their upcoming ninth studio album, A Beautiful Place To Drown, due out March 6th from UNFD. It’s an album that fittingly encapsulates the best of Silverstein while pushing their sound into daring new territory. Today the band has shared A Beautiful Place To Drown‘s lead single, ‘Infinite, which features Underoath’s Aaron Gillespie in one of the album’s several exciting guest spots. The song is a blistering cut of aggression and melody that demonstrates Silverstein‘s ability to seamlessly blend modern sonics with the evergreen energy of their punk roots.

THE WARRIORS Premiere New Single ‘Painful Truth’ (FT WINSTON MCCALL)

Hardcore band, The Warriors, have premiered new song ‘Painful Truth’, featuring Winston McCall with Kerrang.com.  “’The Painful Truth’ was the first song written and recorded for Monomyth,” explains the band. “We wanted to throw all convention out the window and push the boundaries of our creativity in every respect, while still honouring the ‘old’ Warriors sound. In a sense, this song was the foundation upon which the rest of the album was built.” Monomyth the band’s first new album in nearly a decade is out tomorrow on Pure Noise Records.

Swedish atmospheric black metal act Ofdrykkja have been through their share of trials and tribulations relating to addiction and mental illness, with member Drabbad even being shot by the police and arrested in the past for drug offences, they recovered from this and created their second album ‘Irrfärd’ but they soon drifted apart to embark on their own journeys, luckily along the way they embraced a new and better outlook and found sobriety and regrouped to create their new and third album titled ‘Gryningsvisor’ which is Swedish for ‘Ballads At Dawn’ which marks their new direction and chapter as a band…
