SABATON announce ‘Christmas Truce’ pop-up vinyl


In the spirit of Christmas, Swedish metallers SABATON are unveiling their brand new ‘Christmas Truce’ pop-up vinyl to bring in the festive season.

Now available for preorder, this collectible pop-up vinyl pays tribute to the band’s popular track Christmas Truce from the album The War To End All Wars. The vinyl features three variations of the song, including the symphonic version, which is featured on SABATON’s The Symphony To End All Wars. It will be officially released on 23rd December 2022.

Prog giants Dream Theater will play two special gigs in early February in Finland


Last year, the prog giant Dream Theater, who released their 15th studio album in a row, A View From The Top Of The World , will be seen in Finland at the beginning of February with two special shows, where there will also be gems previously enjoyed live only from records. The massive Top Of The World Tour already started a month ago in the United States, and the upcoming performances at Tampere’s Nokia Arena on February 2 and the next day at Oulun’s Energia Arena are part of this whole.

DEATHSTARS European tour dates cancelled


Swedish industrial cult act DEATHSTARS have announced with great regret, that they have to cancel their European dates, which were scheduled for January-March 2023.

You can read the band’s statement here:
“Due to conflicting schedules we are forced to cancel the European tour dates in Jan-March 2023. This is due to a delayed album release, caused by earlier delays in the album production. The tour was originally booked for 2020, but due to the pandemic it was postponed time after time again. We’re now finally approaching the start of the next chapter, but the old unfortunately does not quite fit with the new. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience this causes. All tickets will be refunded.

VV (VILLE VALO) REVEALS NEW SINGLE ‘THE FOREVERLOST’


Finnish Love Metal pioneer, Ville Valo (VV) of HIM, has released his new single ‘The Foreverlost‘. The track is the third glimpse into his upcoming debut solo album Neon Noir, due for release on 13th January 2023 via Heartagram Records, distributed by UMG/Spinefarm

Ville Valo comments: “The Foreverlost is yet another loud love song depicting the burlesque butoh between two world-weary souls. All my Carmina Buranas and could’ve should’ve would’ves rolled into a neat little Gordian knot of the gothic variety.”
