Silverstein have collaborated with emo/hip-hop shaker nothing, nowhere. for a gripping new single “Live Like This” which sees its release just days ahead of the drop of their highly anticipated new album, Misery Made Me. “There came a point when I was somewhere between pessimistic and numb. Something needed to change but I didn’t know where to turn.” Silverstein guitarist Paul Marc reveals “Live Like This” written and recorded in lockdown, became an outlet for that frustration and desperation. “It felt like the only way to work through the sh*t was to hit rock bottom and dig a little deeper to find some hope.”

This year Silverstein are celebrating their 20th anniversary, a rare milestone for any band but even more impressive for one that’s been as consistently active, influential, and crowd-pleasing as the Ontario-based post-hardcore legends. To mark the occasion the always forwarding-thinking group has announced their upcoming ninth studio album, A Beautiful Place To Drown, due out March 6th from UNFD. It’s an album that fittingly encapsulates the best of Silverstein while pushing their sound into daring new territory. Today the band has shared A Beautiful Place To Drown‘s lead single, ‘Infinite‘, which features Underoath’s Aaron Gillespie in one of the album’s several exciting guest spots. The song is a blistering cut of aggression and melody that demonstrates Silverstein‘s ability to seamlessly blend modern sonics with the evergreen energy of their punk roots.

-UK TOUR FOR THIS WINTER WITH SUPPORT FROM HAIL THE SUN
Ontario, Canada’s post-hardcore heavyweights, Silverstein have released a new song ‘Whiplash’ which is taken from recently announced new full length, Dead Reflection, due out July 14th via Rise Records. As well as announcing support for their upcoming UK tour from Hail The Sun.
Dead Reflection is Silverstein’s eighth full length, a feat reached by very few bands, especially within the heavy music world where youthful fire and aggression is often finite. Silverstein, however, have always been an outlier, and Dead Reflection proves that the band still has plenty of fight left. The band pushed themselves harder than ever before resulting in an album the takes all of Silverstein’s strengths–pummeling riffs, explosive dynamic shifts, and hugely anthemic choruses — and ramps up the intensity, demonstrating exactly why Silverstein remain at the top of their game over 17 years into their career.
Silverstein have always managed to be completely comfortable in their own skin while never being afraid to grow, however, the evolution from Ontario basement shows to touring the world over and selling over a million records hasn’t always been easy. Dead Reflection finds Silverstein once again fuelled by the darkest of times. After finishing a gruelling touring cycle in support of 2015’s I Am Alive In Everything I Touch, vocalist Shane Told found himself at his lowest point. Told related, “I was not in a good place a year ago. This record tells the story of how broken I was, how I found myself on a path of self-destruction, and how I had to fight to get my sanity and happiness back”.
The band are no strangers to utilising the hardest parts of life to power their creativity and Dead Reflection is undeniably as harrowing as it is cathartic, but for Silverstein there is no settling, no stopping, and they give nothing less than everything.

Formed in 2000 in Burlington, ON Canada, Silverstein has become as close to a household name as you can get in the post-hardcore scene. The journey from Burlington to over 40 countries manifests itself in the sounds of eight full-length albums, countless EPs, and singles- though perhaps never more saliently than it is heard now. Some 1,760 shows, and over one million albums sold have yet to satiate the dynamic five piece, nor their eager listeners worldwide.
Silverstein is Shane Told (vocals), Paul Koehler (drums), Josh Bradford (guitar), Billy Hamilton (bass) and Paul-Marc Rousseau (guitar).
