Mysteries darken the skies, and only the bravest dare to lift the veil between mere mortals and the ominous forces lurking in the night. Blind Guardian have tracked down the ‘Secrets Of The American Gods’ and reveal their eponymous new single.

The powerful, majestic new track comes with a performance video that was filmed during the recording of the band’s new album in the Twilight Hall Studios between March 2020 and 2021. The masterfully arranged artwork for the single was created by Andrea Christen.

The Finnish cello-rock quartet Apocalyptica have once again partnered up with some of the biggest names in rock music to deliver their new single “I’ll Get Through It”. The song, written for the band by American award-winning songwriter Diane Warren, features Franky Perez – guest vocalist in Apocalyptica’s 2015 record Shadowmaker – as well as Geezer Butler of Black Sabbath on bass guitar. The track can be found on all digital streaming platforms.

Dragged Under Announce New Album ‘Upright Animals’ + Reveal Video For “All of Us”

Dragged Under and Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group have announced a June 10 release date for the band’s new studio album UPRIGHT ANIMALS. To celebrate this, they have revealed the video for new song “All of Us.” They will also be coming to the UK for the first time in the summer, playing Download festival on Saturday 11^th June, a run of six headline dates playing Milton Keynes, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Manchester, London and finishing at the O2 Brixton Academy, London supporting The Ghost Inside. Sacred Son return in 2022 with a new album, ‘The Foul Deth of Engelond’; a black metal chronicle of the 1381 Peasant’s Revolt. Weaving historical record with speculative inversion, the album recounts this fierce and tragic Great Uprising as a proto-revolutionary moment in English history that echoes loudly into our own toxic and fragmented present. The story is presented as inspiration and allegory, with principal songwriter, Dane Cross, describing it as his ode to righteous leftwing political violence.
