Aussie rockers, You’ll See One Day, have released their latest single “The Letter” as of 4/22/22. “The Letter” is a powerful ballad-esque track with meaningful lyrics intended to move the listener. “The Letter” surrounds the sensitive subject of suicide and You’ll See One Day does the topic justice by taking their highly impactful lyricism and matching it with an equally driving rhythm section to invoke an emotional and mental response from their audience.
British extreme metal ghouls Cradle Of Filth are pleased to announce that they will be hitting the road this October, on an extensive European wide tour. Each night, the vile six-piece will be bringing their eldritch extravaganza live to our stages, travelling to 22 cities across 12 different countries. Blackgaze pioneers Alcest will be accompanying them on the road as support.
Symphonic metal masters After Forever are soon approaching the 15th anniversary of their self-titled swansong album After Forever(2007), and to celebrate this anniversary, the band will release a special re-issue of the album – completely re-mastered by Darius van Helfteren and featuring two rare Japanese bonus tracks. One track is the beautiful piano ballad ‘Lonely’ and the other a catchy progressive symphonic metal anthem named ‘Sweet Enclosure’, which has been released today.
Final Light, a one-time only project featuring Perturbator and Cult of Luna’s Johannes Persson, release their self-titled album on June 24 via Red Creek.
The project is the result of both a recently discovered kinship and the opportunity for Perturbator, at the request of Roadburn’s Walter Hoeijmakers, to do a commissioned piece with a musician of his choice for the festival’s 2020 iteration, which of course did not happen.
