Download Festival isn’t taking place this year but they have just announced 70+ bands for 2022.  The next wave of artists joining previously announced headliners: KISS, Iron Maiden and Biffy Clyro.

New artists JUST added, and bringing the mosh to #DL2022, include:
DeftonesKorn, Megadeth, The Pretty Reckless, Steel PantherThe Ghost Inside, Funeral For A Friend, Descendents, Electric Wizard, Sepultura.

Download Festival UK 2021 is cancelled & headliners for 2022 revealed


Download Festival 2021 has unfortunately been cancelled for the second year in a row due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic.

The 2021 event, which was set to take place at Donington Park from June 4-6, with Kiss, Biffy Clyro and System Of A Down as headliners. With the event cancelled the organisers did offer some good news in the form of confirming the headliners for 2022 with Kiss and Biffy Clyro re-confirmed to headline and with the addition of Iron Maiden as one of the headliners now instead of Sytem Of A Down.

WINDIR discography to be released on vinyl for the first time


For decades, fans have been asking for a vinyl release of the iconic and beloved WINDIR albums. On March 5, 2021, that dream will become a reality. The black metal classics ‘Soknardalr’, ‘Arntor’, ‘1184’ and ‘Likferd’, will be available in a special, limited edition wooden box released via Season of Mist. ‘The Sognametal Legacy’ box set is strictly limited to 1184 copies worldwide.

DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL ADDS 17 BANDS TO THE 2021 LINE UP


Download Festival, the world’s premier rock event, has announced 17 new bands for 2021, including the mighty Megadeth, Descendents, Boston Manor, Northlane, Venom Prison, Salem, The Skints, Renounced, Static Dress, The Injester and more. They will join the already stellar line up, headlined by KISS, Biffy Clyro and System Of A Down. The three-day festival takes place on 4-6 June 2021 at the spiritual home of rock in Donington Park, Leicestershire. Day tickets will go on sale at 9am on Thursday 29 October via downloadfestival.co.uk/tickets.

2000trees Festival are excited to announce 110 bands for 2021.

We previously announced our first headliner, Jimmy Eat World and now we can reveal Thrice will be making their 2000trees debut and close the festival on the Friday night by playing their hugely important album ‘Vheissu’ in full & other much beloved songs.
