Download Festival UK 2021 is cancelled & headliners for 2022 revealed

Download Festival 2021 has unfortunately been cancelled for the second year in a row due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic.

The 2021 event, which was set to take place at Donington Park from June 4-6, with Kiss, Biffy Clyro and System Of A Down as headliners. With the event cancelled the organisers did offer some good news in the form of confirming the headliners for 2022 with Kiss and Biffy Clyro re-confirmed to headline and with the addition of Iron Maiden as one of the headliners now instead of Sytem Of A Down.

If you purchased a ticket, the organisers said you can retain this and carry it over to next year. Alternatively, you will be able to receive a refund from your ticket agent.

Download 2022 Weekend Tickets when they go on general sale this Friday 5th March at 10am. That includes the Instalment Plan and – extremely popular – luxury RIP Camping options too, for those who fancy going all out next year!
