2000trees are bringing you three days of exclusive content on the weekend of Thursday 9th – 11th July 2020.  There will be live music, interviews, hosting from the Sappenin’ podcast crew, a look back at 2000trees through the ages and an extremely exciting new way to be part of the Trees community – all on the 2000trees Facebook & Instagram pages.

Due a recent CONVID-19 situation it is not a big surprise that 25th anniversary Brutal Assault in Czech is also delayed with current line up of bands to 2021.

On a little brigther side the makers of the festival, prepared some smaller event in the place of military fortress on 7th and 8th August. During this event, we are going to see thrashers TANKARD, darker BELPHEGOR or HATE and from the home scene, Czech legend ROOT and provocative HENTAI CORPORATION. Other bands shall be announced in half of the July.

Also, during those two days, visitor have option to check background of BRUTAL ASSAULT festival and the fortress.

Download Festival Announced Download TV: A Virtual Festival after recently announcing due to the coronavirus that festival was sadly but understandable cancelled. The virtual festival takes place from this Friday the 12-14th June 2020.

ArcTanGent Festival announces Opeth as its first 2021 headliner & launches its own Crowd Funder

After last weeks postponement announcement for ArcTanGent Festival for this Summer, the team are proud to announce that Opeth have confirmed as our first headliners for 2021.
“We’re very excited to announce that Opeth will be at ArcTanGent 2021 as our Main Stage Saturday night headliner.” says festival booker, James Scarlett, “They are the biggest band we had booked for 2020 so it felt like a good way to let people know our intentions for next year are equally big, if not bigger! A little bit of inside info is that ATG 2021 will feature loads of the 2020 bands with some amazing extras on top. Watch this space!”

May 14th has come and it is time for an event you were all waiting for.  Tonight Century Media Records, in cooperation with EMP, hosts the ISOLATION FESTIVAL. The Century Media ISOLATION FESTIVAL is a free online festival that will be broadcasted on Century Media’s YouTube channel. The stream will begin tonight at 8pm CET / 2pm EST / 11am PST and is going to be online for 24 hours.

THE HEAVY METAL TRUANTS ANNOUNCE VIRTUAL CHARITY RIDE SET TO BE BIGGEST YET


EIGHTH OF SPADES V2

The Heavy Metal Truants have today announced that their eighth annual fundraising ride from London to the hallowed grounds of Castle Donington for Download Festival, will go ahead virtually.  The charity cycling group, founded in 2013 by ex-Metal Hammer Editor in Chief Alexander Milas and Iron Maiden Manager Rod Smallwood, raise money for children’s charities through events, memorabilia auctions and their annual charity cycle ride from London to Download Festival.  To date, the Heavy Metal Truants have raised £681,500 for Teenage Cancer TrustNordoff Robbins and Childline.  This year they welcome the addition of Save The Children as an international charity beneficiary.
