Houston-based progressive metal outfit, OCEANS OF SLUMBER, have just released a video for their new single “The Decay Of Disregard”, taken off their upcoming album “The Banished Heart”, to be released on March 2, 2018!
The band comments, “The first statement of this record is one of realization and self-destruction. The peculiarities of life, the darkness it brings, and the inability we have to separate the heart from the mind. Something that can rot us from the inside and that most of us fight with everyday.”

KAMERA OBSCURA is melting the rage of Metal (guitar, bass, drums, clean vocals/harsh vocals) with the atmosphere of original soundtracks (vintage synth sounds, samples) in a world inspired by the masters of genre cinema, from Ted Browning to John Carpenter, Russ Meyer, Dario Argento, George Miller and Kenneth Anger. Remarked while they were opening for Nekrogoblkon and Porn, the band just recorded a 10-track album due for January 2018.

The finnish scifi metal group Coraxo has released a new single off their upcoming album ‘Sol’, you can watch it here:
‘Helios’ features a guitar solo by Chris Amott (ex-Arch Enemy).
The Coraxo frontman Tomi Toivonen says that the upcoming album will contain “much more melodic and less chaotic” than the industrial metal influenced debut Neptune and will include multiple guest appearances including guitar solos from Chris Amott (ex-Arch Enemy) and Peter Huss (Shining SWE).
The band states that:
“the album is now 100% done, Dan (Swanö) did a great mastering job on it as usual. It is again a theme based album, thematically revolving round the rise of the new society that forms after the war that mankind lost against Starlit Flame, the nanomachine entity. Musically it’s a lot more melodic and “sunny”, pun intended. But lyrically it’s still very dark and gritty”.

Their monster third album ‘Born A Dying Breed’ will be released on 3rd Nov and it sees the band really ramping things up a notch, huge chunky hard rock tracks intermingled with some sublime songs showcasing their lighter touch, this truly is a fabulous album and should see them rise through the ranks with speed.
Northants rockers STORMBRINGER formed in summer 2011 when founding members Jon Quantrill, Dom Wallace, Ash Smith and Darren McCullagh got together to write and create what would become the 2013 debut album ‘MMXIII’, recorded with vocalist Mike Stockley. A mix of classic rock and heavy metal with a contemporary edge saw Stormbringer quickly set themselves apart.
