METAL PIONEERS JUDAS PRIEST RIDE HIGH IN THE UK ALBUM CHART


Today Judas Priest score the highest charting effort of their 50-year career, with the release of the critically acclaimed nineteenth studio album Invincible Shield.

The heavy metal icons’ previous career best was their seminal metal masterpiece British Steel, which peaked at #4 back in 1980. 
 
Having sold a massive 18,000 copies of Invincible Shield in the UK, the band better their last effort, 2018’s Firepower, which peaked at #5.

Final acts for Graspop Metal Meeting 2024 revealed


This final clutch of 13 names completes the line-up for #GMM24! Slayer guitarist Kerry King, the tandem Max and Iggor Cavalera and former Deep Purple bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes are amongst the last acts to be announced for the 27th edition of Graspop Metal Meeting.

These are the final additions to this year’s bill: : Casey, Deez Nuts, Dominum, Fleddy Melculy, Frog Leap, Gel, Glenn Hughes Performs Classic Deep Purple Live, John Coffey, Kerry King, Khemmis, Max & Iggor Cavalera, Spoil Engine and Zulu

Unfortunately Corrosion of Conformity have been forced to cancel their appearance.
