Politically-Charged New Album to be Released Later in 2018 via Napalm Records
Metalcore outfit RIGHTEOUS VENDETTA are excited to reveal the music video for their ferocious single, “War Is Killing Us All”, taken off of their debut CENTURY MEDIA RECORDS album, “Cursed”, which was released in early 2017.
Guitarist Justin Olmstead commented, “Everything came together perfectly for the ‘War Is Killing Us All’ video. The song is dark and aggressive, so we wanted to go at it in a unique way that would actually capture the attitude. Capture the mentality of twisted distress and borderline insanity, while portraying that most battles are created and sustained in our own minds, ultimately attacking ourselves. Vince Lundi and the crew absolutely killed it on our POV concept, and everyone at the Ohio State Reformatory was so cool in opening their doors and allowing us virtually free reign on sections of the prison to get the shots we needed to get. Everyone had such a great time hanging out and checking out the prison that it didn’t even feel like a video shoot. Definitely an experience we will always remember.”

Blackened death metallers Demonic Resurrection from Mumbai, India formed back in 2000 and are at the forefront of the metal scene in their country. Since their formation, they have signed with Candlelight Records and had their music distributed by Universal Music as well as winning some impressive accolades such as Metal Hammer Golden God Winners 2010 and Rolling Stone Metal Award Winners 2010 & 2014 across various categories. Can you tell us about your formation back in 2000?
I was 18 years old when I formed Demonic Resurrection but I had been writing material since 2 years prior and I had been looking for band members since then. I was frustrated with not finding members for the band and was ready to go on stage with my computer and play a show. Lucky for me I ran into an old school friend Prashant (who was studying in America but returned to India for a break) and he agreed to join the band and with him came another schoolmate of mine Aditya who played guitar and a drummer Yash who was living in their area. I asked another friend of mine Farhad who was a keyboardist to join us. This is how I managed to get the first line up of the band together.
