In May 2019 after hearing about the plight of the Heugh Battery Museum which was in danger of permanent closure due to a lack of funding, History Obsessed Swedish Metal Band SABATON instigated a charity initiative, raising over £4000 from the sales of a specially designed T Shirt and putting the museum’s crowdfunder well over their target.

W.A.S.P. Announce the Postponement and Rescheduling of the 2022 European Tour to Spring 2023
Hollywood, CA (February 15, 2022) — W.A.S.P. will be postponing the European 40th Anniversary Tour scheduled for Spring of 2022. With great disappointment, because of the world wide covid pandemic, the band are forced to postpone the tour until Spring of 2023.
The new European dates for the continuation of the 40th Anniversary World Tour have been rescheduled for March, April and May of 2023. Those new dates are available to view at WASPNation.com/tour. Please check those new dates to find the dates and venues near you. All tickets previously purchased for the 2022 tour will be valid at the rescheduled 2023 shows.

Sometimes, the difference between bravery and insanity is indistinguishable. Over the course of four wars in six decades, Adrian Carton De Wiart proved himself to be the most unkillable soldier of all time. The Belgian-born British Army Officer survived several plane crashes, lost an eye and a hand, sustained eleven grievous injuries: He fully dedicated his life to military services. Whenever there was a war, Adrian Carton De Wiart was there. “Frankly, I had enjoyed the war,” he said – peacefully passing away at the age of 83 in 1963.
