“’Fallen Star’ is about enduring the burn out of someone close to us,” offer Employed To Serve front woman Justine Jones. “It can be devastating to look on helplessly as someone you care for continues to fly too close to the sun and not learn from it. Sometimes you need to just distance yourself and love them from afar. We felt it should be the title track as it thematically centers around the lyrics of the new record. In commemoration of Wormrot’s original line-up reuniting to resume their genius in unleashing exquisite noise together, the band have announced a new album ‘TNT’.
Recorded live from TNT Studios in their homeland Singapore, ‘TNT’ features 12 tracks from across the band’s discography, including songs from their latest album ‘HISS’ and their debut album ‘Abuse’. ‘TNT’ sees Rasyid Juraimi (guitar), Arif Rot (vocals) and Fitri Hamid (drums) rip through an exhilarating live in-studio set, capturing the grindcore concoction that the metal world became enraptured by almost two decades ago.
