Today, Florida-based artist Snovonne has released a new music video “Bullsh?t” .
Taken from Snovonne’s third studio album “The Child and The Bitch”, “Bullsh?t” is the fourth music video to emerge from her latest project. Stepping outside the lines of her typically dark and creepy elegance, the playful new video pulsates with vibrant color and cartoon-ish texture. Snovonne sports a white onsie and a bunny hat, going through what could only be described as multiple stages of anger and/or anger management.
Never lacking any irony – after smudging your pink screen with paint and expressing her temper holding a pocket-sized chihuahua, Sno moves on to raise her sledgehammer to a large stuffed carrot.

Speaking about the video, Snovonne said: “It’s a caricature of anger. Naturally, I wanted to visualize what the song represents. A state of mind that’s past anger – when you just want to stand on your head and laugh maniacally, otherwise you’ll explode. There’s not much logic left at that point… being a decent human being got you nowhere, so you lose respect and feel like ridiculing everything, including yourself, because that’s at least fun. People ‘dangling carrots’ in my face is something I despise with a passion, so carrots had to make a cameo, one way or another. Bunnies, sledgehammers, chihuahuas – I figured it would make a great psychadelic cocktail. I’m a big fan of 90’s music videos – the saturated and un-clean, and ‘Bullsh?t” gave me the opportunity to push in a different direction than usual. Mainly, I wanted to have fun. The people I wrote this song about take their egos way too seriously.” Continue reading “CARICATURE OF ANGER” – SNOVONNE Releases New Video “BULLSH?T”
Snovonne is known for her melancholic and psychoanalytic creations, which often reveal things one would rather not see. The new album The Child And The Bitch is exactly that and so much more.
“The concept carries a strong psychoanalytic undertone.” Snovonne says. “It’s about perception, points of view. It’s the battle between two voices – how you were born vs. what the world turns you into. There’s no right or wrong, both the entities have values to stand on, but that doesn’t stop them from clashing… I wanted to give room to both voices.”
The album will be introduced with the super-melancholic “Best Days”. Coming out March 17th, the video presents the album’s concept of duality, musically and visually.
The third official full-length album The Child And The Bitch (subtitled “Chronicles 1984 – 2014”) has been in production since 2015 and is now scheduled for release on April 17th.
“Best Days” Trailer!
With all artistic gears spinning to a maximum, it’s a big leap forward – not only its heavily emotional and expressive content, but also in its audio and visual presentation. Heavy-hitting, stomping riffs are supported by epic, aggressive orchestral arrangements and cut through with razor-sharp melancholy.
Sno´s grandfather was, in his time, a reputable psychiatrist with a passion for fine arts and swing music. That had a significant influence on her artistic life.
She continues: “I’ve always been fascinated by old medical journals and books… Grew up around it, family of doctors… So given the self-analytical tone of the record, it was only natural to make the artwork an old medical journal. The lyrics are my entries with dates when they were written, some of them I wrote when I was very young. As a parallel, I put in old articles from the 20’s, which I scanned from the original personal scrapbook of Dr. Frederick Finch Strong. He was a renowned persona of the last century – promoter of electrotherapy, cutting-edge in developing methods of treatment, and highly esoteric and eccentric. He was the first American to employ Tesla Coils therapeutically.”

Modern Age Dying: Stream “The Age Of Regression”
Modern Age Dying represents a voiceful dissagreement with the steps humanity is taking blindly towards it’s own damnation. The lyrics in ‘Age Of Regression‘ speak of the will to break free from the chains of lies which the corrupt elite feeds their slaves, the people of the world, and encouraging them to rise and use their yet unrealized power, just like it occured repeatedly in mankind’s history.
The band comments: We are blessed and grateful for being able to play the music that we like and speak to people live in these times hardened for underground scene”
This band formed after a Slovakian Experimental Death Metal outfit ‘Apothecy‘ ceased to exist due to departure of it’s founding and leading frontman. The remaining members however still wish to pursue music, and so they reincarnated with new guitarist and bassist and formed ‘Modern Age Dying’.
The young formation started putting their first material together in spring of 2016 on which they began to get to know each other’s vastly different musical tastes and styles as is significant on their first single demo release ‘Age Of Regression‘ .
Modern Age Dying is currently finishing their material to build their debut album, planning to release more demos prior, one song at a time to keep the fire alive. They will also endeavour to play live for their growing fanbase as much as they can, in as many towns, cities and countries as possible.
So metalheads, enjoy the music, visit their networks, and stay tuned, there’s sure more to come…
