BATUSHKA / БАТЮШКА returns with new mini album


Batushka doesn’t slow down. Six months after the release of the last studio material, the band returns with a new concept mini-album entitled “ЦАРЮ НЕБЕСНЫЙ” / “CARJU NIEBIESNYJ” / “HEAVENLY KING“.

The six-track release is a follow-up to the band’s last year EP “Raskol“. This time Batushka‘s music is more varied, emotional, and dynamic. More information and the details behind the album’s lyrical and visual concept will be announced through the band’s social media before the premiere, scheduled for March 19.

Los Angeles based alternative metal act Zero Theorem recently released their third EP last month on 22nd January titled “The Killing II’. This EP has proved their most successful yet with the singles ‘Swarm’ and ‘Translucent’ both making it onto the Spotify Rock Hard playlist and Spotify New Metal Tracks playlist. Both also spent six weeks+ on Apple Music Breaking Hard Rock & Breaking Metal playlists; Pandora New Metal Now, New Rock Now & New Music Now playlists. They have generated over eight million cumulative audio streams and have a unique alternative metal mixed with sci-fi which their latest release fully embraces. We caught up with lead singer Caesar to find out about the new EP, their love of sci-fi and it’s influences, the upcoming tour with Fozzy and more.

BEHEMOTH signs new contract with NUCLEAR BLAST RECORDS


BEHEMOTH – arguably the biggest extreme metal band in the world – have extended and expanded their contract with Nuclear Blast, who will now distribute the group’s music worldwide outside of their home country. The group originally signed with Nuclear Blast Europe prior to the release of 2009’s Evangelion, but their forthcoming album – which is tentatively set for an autumn 2021 release – will be their first to be released by the label outside of the Old Continent.
