THE SISTERS OF MERCY, who turn 40 this year, have announced special guests for each of their upcoming London Roundhouse shows.

Joining THE SISTERS OF MERCY on Friday 10th September, the legendary Jesus Jones perform their first show since 2019. On Saturday 10th, classically trained “Death Gospel” singer A.A. Williams opens the show, and on Sunday 12th, Leeds post-rock quintet I Like Trains will open proceedings.

MINISTRY Release cover song/video of The Stooges hit ‘Search And Destroy’


In addition to four decades of incredible original material that spawned a whole new genre of music, industrial mainstays Ministry and creator/frontman Al Jourgensen are also well known for a series of memorable cover songs from Black Sabbath’s Supernaut‘ to Bob Dylan’s Lay Lady Lay‘. The newest tribute is a take on The Stooges’ ‘Search And Destroy’ offering a uniquely slowed down tempo and Jourgensen’s guttural howl that amplifies the song’s wartime critique. The video was directed by the iconic Dean Karr (Ozzy OsbourneIron MaidenDr. DreVelvet Revolver, Rob Zombie).

With dates across the West Coast and Pacific Northwest, OLD BLOOD will kick things off on October 22nd in Palmdale CA at Transplants Brewing and conclude part on November 5th in Oceanside CA at Pourhouse.

Opening with the haunting cry of screeching lead guitar, timpani, and pipe organ, the ominous introduction sets the stage for a horrifying climax that never seems to lessen in effect with repeated listens. The dastardly arrival of Earthside’s new song All We Knew And Ever Loved is ushered in by a very human spiral of conflict, represented by the dueling drum performance of Earthside’s Ben Shanbrom and featured guest performer, Baard Kolstad of Leprous.
