West Chicago Metal Industrial project, led by multi-instrumentalist DAVE MCANALLY, DERISION CULT, has joined forces with MINISTRY’SCHRIS CONNELLY and THE CURE’SREEVES GABRELS on their newest single, “Deaf Blood.” Imagined and written by the band, the animated video for “Deaf Blood” was created by ZYGOSLUKSAS at EMPIRE ANIMATION of Vancouver, “Deaf Blood” is the second single off of their upcoming album, which was produced by SEAN PAYNE.
MINISTRY have one more surprise planned for fans this year, announcing the act’s first-ever livestream to be hosted on streaming platform HITKOR. Featuring the full band and possible special guests, the show will take place on November 20 at 11pm GMT and will feature classic hits from the band’s 40-year history, as well as new tracks from latest album, Moral Hygiene, out now on Nuclear Blast Records.
Los Angeles, CA based heavy metal band SIGLOS, comprised of two-time Grammy nominated guitarist SIN QUIRIN (former MINISTRY, LORDS OF ACID, AMERICAN HEAD CHARGE, SOCIETY 1) and lyricist and vocalist PEDRO SANCHEZ (TRANSTORNO), has revealed the official music video for “Morir Para Vivir”. Rhythmic and explosive, “Morir Para Vivir” draws from the artists’ Latin heritage while beating a brutal, black metal percussion, culminating in a darkly atmospheric, raw intensity.
France based, Chilean born heavy electronic artist VIGILANTE has released a graphic, physically explosive official music video for his new single and EP, Primera Linea. Directed by Nicolas Robini, the music video pays homage to the massive protests in Chile (2019 -2020) against president Sebastian Pinera and the terrible legacy of General Pinochet’s constitution. The clip features the artist (former pro-wrestler) against French pro-wrestler Jérôme Jagorel from RIXE wrestling.”
In addition to four decades of incredible original material that spawned a whole new genre of music, industrial mainstays Ministry and creator/frontman Al Jourgensen are also well known for a series of memorable cover songs from Black Sabbath’s ‘Supernaut‘ to Bob Dylan’s ‘Lay Lady Lay‘. The newest tribute is a take on The Stooges’ ‘Search And Destroy’ offering a uniquely slowed down tempo and Jourgensen’s guttural howl that amplifies the song’s wartime critique. The video was directed by the iconic Dean Karr (Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden, Dr. Dre, Velvet Revolver, Rob Zombie).
Platinum selling, International recording artists STATIC-X have released a new music video for the song “Dead Souls,” from their 7th studio album, PROJECT REGENERATION Volume 1, Out NOW. The video was directed by Wombatfire (HELLYEAH, In Flames, Hollywood Undead, Tech 9) and the song features guest vocals from Ministry’s Al Jorgensen.
