Swedish Power metal heroes and history buffs are back, and like their previous album 2019’s ‘The Great War’, this new tenth assault, ‘The War To End All Wars’, deals with the First World War. The band had plenty more stories to tell from that time, so they continued with this theme, and the result is some of their best and most epic tales of battles yet.

“Twenties” is the latest advance offering from IMPERA, the imminent fifth album from GRAMMY-winning Swedish theatrical rock outfit GHOST, heralding its arrival March 11 via Loma Vista Recordings.
With its messianic promises of reigns of pennies and piles of moolah set to an appropriately manic musical backdrop, the unrelenting and propulsive “Twenties” stands in stark contrast to its Pre-IMPERA predecessor, the eerily hypnotic “Call Me Little Sunshine.” In fact, the apocalyptically prophetic vibe of “Twenties” – particularly its lyrical relevance to to historical events unfolding on the world stage (however incidental) – render the song utterly unique in the Ghost canon.
THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, consisting of members of Feuerschwanz, Amaranthe and Ad Infinitum, have released the second single and music video since their formation – their version of Enya’s The Lord Of The Rings – The Two Towers theme, “May It Be”. The original song is the soundtrack to one of the darkest storylines of the whole saga, spreading hope when there seems to be none left.

On Saturday night, The Rasmus were crowned the winner of Finland’s Eurovision selection contest, Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu (UMK), after delivering a knockout performance which won over both the international jury and Finnish public, earning the band a landslide victory with 310 points.
