Switzerland based Dark Metal Band XAON has released the official music video for their single, “Zarathustra,” off of their 2017 released The Drift LP. NORTHWARD – speak about the band’s foundation in first trailer!
NORTHWARD, the hard rock project from masterminds Floor Jansen and Jorn Viggo Lofstad, will release its powerful debut self-titled album on October 19th, 2018. After recently unveiling the first music video for their catchy new single ‘While Love Died’, the duo has now launched their first album trailer, in which Floor and Jorn Viggo explain how they first started working together.
“I, at that time, started thinking I would love to write a rock album”, Floor states. “I would like to step out of the comfort of being in a band as AFTER FOREVER and get new inspiration from different styles. And Jorn’s play was immediately like ‘Hm, he’s a very diverse and a very good player’ and well, it worked out!”
Jorn Viggo adds: ”I remember, we kept in contact and we decided to meet in Holland to jam and to see if there was any songwriting chemistry and, I mean, it was like boom right away, it worked very well.”
