Premiere thrash outfit Sylosis have released a video for their brand new single ‘Immovable Stone’. Another prime example of the quartet’s uniquely exhilarating take on modern metal, ‘Immovable Stone’ is the band’s first release since the furious ‘Worship Decay’ last December.
Sylosis founder Josh Middleton comments “Immovable Stone is the second song released from a recording session we did last year which includes Worship Decay (released December 2020) and one other song which will remain unreleased due to it accidentally being wiped from existence on a broken hard drive. Another slightly different sounding song to anything on Cycle of Suffering. A nice way to tie off 2021 and keep things moving forwards ahead of a new Sylosis record in 2022.”
Still celebrating their 40-year tenure as one of music’s premier thrash metal bands, Anthrax announces their first European/UK tour since the summer of 2019. The sound of steel will ring out loud and proud once again this summer, as the death/thrash/shred metal quartet EXMORTUS return to the tour trail for their first live dates in more than 18 months. As road warriors who have toured extensively in recent years with the likes of Amon Amarth, Death Angel, Abbath, Marty Friedman, Obituary and Dark Tranquillity, it was an uncharacteristically quiet period for the California-based slaves to the sword, but the band promises that their summer shows are the first of many more to come.
“No Tears for the Dead” is a track taken from Death Perception’s album “Ashes”, out via Wormholedeath worldwide.
From Kyle Young: “No Tears for the Dead” is a song about a family being murdered, and the radicalization of a child after being subjected to horrific experiences. This song touches on the significant impact that loss can have on an individual.
