Swedish metal heroes SABATON have revealed their special guests for the UK and European leg of their upcoming TOUR TO END ALL TOURS. Japanese dance metal sensation BABYMETAL will appear as very special guests, marking their first international shows in over three years. Finnish Eurovision winners LORDI will open all shows.
“We are extremely happy to welcome BABYMETAL to our already much anticipated tour in Europe 2023,” says bass player Pär Sundström. “The energy and power of this band will for sure make each night something special.”
The time has come for SABATON to reveal some BIG NEWS. The band is beyond proud to announce that for the last two years, they have been busy working on an exciting, large-scale project. In 2023, SABATON will release The War To End All Wars movie, a full-length musical motion picture featuring songs from the band’s 10th studio album, The War To End All Wars. This movie vividly tells the stories of World War I by way of animation and live action. It will give the viewer a better understanding of what the band’s songs on the album are about — it is a musical and historical adventure. Currently in post-production, the movie is being made in collaboration with Yarnhub Animation Studio. SABATON previously worked with them on other projects, including their most recent animated story video for ‘The Red Baron‘. The War To End All Wars movie is on a completely different scale that neither the band nor Yarnhub have ever attempted before. As the band has said, you’re going to want to see this!
Swedish metallers SABATON are on a mission to send chills up listeners’ spines. Today, the Falun five-piece unleash their new album The Symphony To End All Wars – a virtuosic, symphonic take on The War To End All Wars – which was released on March 4, 2022, by Nuclear Blast Records.
The band state: “These stories about courageous heroes and extraordinary incidents during the Great War are not only worthy of a whole album and an accompanying history edition, but an additional symphonic soundtrack edition that summons new emotions and adds a new dimension to our compositions. This is an entirely different take on The War To End All Wars.”
Sweden’s most famous war chroniclers SABATON write history again: With their latest masterpiece “The War To End All Wars” that was released via Nuclear Blast Records on March 4th, the band climbs the international charts securing #1 positions in Germany, Austria, Sweden, Poland, Hungary and Finland.
Following the release of their tenth studio album The War To End All Wars, SABATON arrive with a huge announcement today: Spring 2023 will see the band touring across Europe on the eagerly awaited re-scheduled tour: “The Tour To End All Tours”.
Starting in Leeds on April 14th, the tour will bring SABATON to 21 cities in 14 countries. SABATON will present their biggest and most spectacular show to date in Europe’s largest arenas.
Swedish Power metal heroes and history buffs are back, and like their previous album 2019’s ‘The Great War’, this new tenth assault, ‘The War To End All Wars’, deals with the First World War. The band had plenty more stories to tell from that time, so they continued with this theme, and the result is some of their best and most epic tales of battles yet.
