ALESTORM Announces North American Headline Tour for Spring 2024!


Infamous metal pirates ALESTORM are set to return with another batch of mischief! Today, ALESTORM announces their “Tour Of The Dead Marauder” North American headline tour, kicking off in Cincinnati, OH on March 19, 2024. The month-long tour will feature support from Elvenking and Glyph, with venues to be announced soon. Tickets go on sale this Friday, November 17 at 10:00 AM local time – get yours soon before they are gone!

But that’s not all! Later that same week, they will release their new EP, entitled Voyage of the Dead Marauder, out March 22, 2024 via Napalm Records! The upcoming EP arrives as the successor to ALESTORM’s epic seventh studio album, Seventh Run of a Seventh Rum, which peaked at #7 on the German Album charts and #5 on both the US Current Hard Music and Top New Artist Albums charts. Once more, ALESTORM collaborated with producer Lasse Lammert (LSD-Studios), who produced, recorded, mixed and mastered the new EP and is known for his work with fellow genre greats Gloryhammer and Wind Rose.

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Announce, The End is Nero, The North American Tour


After a triumphant return on the battlegrounds of Boston Calling and Sonic Temple, Queens of the Stone Age have announced the details of their North American tour, which will kick off on August 3rd in Sterling Heights, MI. Queens of The Stone Age and Citi pre-sales begin Tuesday, June 6th at 10am local time, with public on-sale following Friday June 9th, 10am local time. The east coast leg of the tour will feature support from Phantogram and The Armed. Viagra Boys and Jehnny Beth will support on the mid-west and west coast dates.

HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY’s Re-Recorded Self-Titled Album & “Aokigahara MMXXII” Out Now


Today, post black metal pioneers HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY have released the re-recordings of their two first albums “Harakiri For The Sky” and “Aokigahara”. As they have never been fully happy with the production of these two early albums, the duo agreed that it was time to breathe a second life into them and re-record these “MMXXII Editions” in time for their 10th band anniversary – with fuller, more dynamic sound and better recording possibilities that they have now.

SOEN RELEASE SINGLE/VIDEO FOR SLIPKNOT COVER “SNUFF”


The engaging, enchanting, cutting, yet beautiful Swedish metal supergroup Soen release the mesmerizing video for their interpretation of Slipknot classic, “Snuff”. The track is taken from the forthcoming release ATLANTIS, out via Silver Lining Music on November 18th, 2022.

Founding members Martin Lopez and Joel Ekelöf explain their selection of Slipknot’s deeply dark meditation on darkness rejecting love “Snuff”:“We wanted to do something extra special during the ATLANTIS concert. The obvious path would have been to pick an epic progressive song from the likes of Genesis, Pink Floyd etc. Instead, we went for the opposite with ‘Snuff’, a scaled down and brutally honest song that we all love in its powerful sincerity.”
