After earning a Swedish Grammis Award earlier this year for their critically acclaimed latest album, Where the Gloom Becomes Sound (2021), TRIBULATION have now returned with a new standalone single and video, ‘Hamartia’.
A first recording to feature new guitarist JosephTholl, ‘Hamartia’ was recorded with Robert Pehrsson, mixed by Tom Dalgety (who previously mixed Where the Gloom Becomes Sound), mastered by Magnus Lindberg and comes with artwork by TRIBULATION guitarist Adam Zaars.

Minneapolis, MN rock powerhouse THE ISSUE has revealed the official music video for their new single, “Paradox.” Directed and produced by BRAD MATALA, “Paradox” is the fourth single off of their recently released EP, Wasted Life.

The Finnish four piece Apocalyptica have dropped their very own Cello-Metal reinterpretation of classical bangers with the new EP Metal Classic, Classic Metal. Release day also sees the band unleash the focus track ‘Flight of the Bumblebees‘ originally by Nikolai Rimski-Korsakow.
On the EP’s focus track, Perttu Kivilaakso states: “‘Flight of the Bumblebee’ is one of the most well-known virtuosic pieces. I have played it during my classical years many times, always aiming for faster and faster performances. This time I thought it would be the coolest thing to make a rough and heavy ‘Bee’ for our band, basically creating the slowest and most doomy ‘Bumblebee’ ever! It’s fascinating how musical structures can work out in many various ways! This ‘Bee’ is heavy and angry, but surely flies out with a smile on her face and a blink in it’s eye!”
A few weeks ago, Swedish modern metal sensation AMARANTHE began to release a series of very special interpretations of songs from their 2020 hit album, Manifest.Today, the band are proud to present the latest and final entry in this sequence of unique singles: a new version of the song ‘Make It Better‘ which now features BEYOND THE BLACK‘s Jennifer Haben on guest vocals. Phoenix, AZ based, alternative metal band HAZEN has announced that they will be joining Charlotte, NC favorites FALLING THROUGH APRIL on the 2022 Fall Worlds Away Tour. Launching September 22 at The Battlefield Bar in Chalmette, LA, the tour winds through the US, wrapping up October 15 at The Juke Joint in Ocean Springs, MS.
