January 31st, 2024 – after a long and successful career, UK rock royalty, You Me At Six, today announce their split.

Frontman Josh Franceschi says “When we started YMAS we were kids. We only ever wanted longevity, to travel and to experience life as a group of friends. We feel like on the eve of our 20th anniversary as a band, now is a good time to call time. We’re in a fortunate position where our fans still want to see us live and come celebrate the life of this band. So that is what we will do for 2024 and 2025. We can’t wait to see our fans on the road”

15 NEW COPENHELL 2024 BANDS ANNOUNCED + CAMPING SALES WILL OPEN SOON


The COPENHELL 2024 music line-up will soon be finalised with today’s announcement of 15 new bands: TOM MORELLO, THE HIVES, ACCEPT, HATEBREED, ORM, URIAH HEEP, SIAMESE, UNDEROATH, EMPIRE STATE BASTARD, VANSIND, SKULLCLUB, BRAND OF SACRIFICE, SPOTLIGHTS, VULVATORIOUS and THE BABOON SHOW.

This brings the total amount of bands so far up to 71 during four hard and heavy festival days with TOOL, LIMP BIZKIT, AVENGED SEVENFOLD and MACHINE HEAD as this year’s big headliners.

DESERTFEST LONDON announces day splits alongside 32 additional artists for this year’s festival


Desertfest London has revealed their day and stage splits for their 13th edition, taking place this May across multiple venues in Camden, London.

The festival proudly welcomes Masters of Reality as Friday’s Electric Ballrooms headliners, with Chris Goss at the helm providing a master-class in desert sounds. Plus, newly announced for this stage are Colour Haze and Frankie and The Witch Fingers who will join Brant Bjork Trio and Mondo Generator to kick off the weekend in true Desertfest style. Mantar and Raging Speedhorn will shake-up the Underworld, whilst Brume and Alber Jupiter psych-out at The Black Heart.

22 more artists added to Download Festival XXI


Liquid Death presents Download Festival, the greatest rock and metal festival of all time, has today announced a further wave of 22 artists for this year’s festival, further bolstering a stellar 2024 line-up and truly delivering something for everyone. UK metallers Defects will release their profoundly personal debut album, Modern Error, on 24 May via Mascot Records. They have also revealed the video for their brand-new song Lockdown.

UTOPIA SHARE VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE & ALBUM TITLE TRACK ’SHAME’


Building upon their debut album ‘Stalker’, released in 2021 and named after the 1979 Tarkovsky film, UTOPIA have upped their game for their second release ‘Shame’. 

Their debut album, put together during the pandemic with guest musicians, featured the extreme drumming talents of Billy Rymer (The Dillinger Escape Plan), Baard Kolstad (Leprous), Lee Fisher (Fawn Limbs), Si Blakelock (Tangaroa) and Simon Peter King. Now featuring a fixed lineup, the original members of John Bailey on guitars, Chris Reese (Corrupt Moral Altar) on vocals and Arran McSporran (Virvum/Vipassi) on fretless bass are now joined by Jay Walsh on drums and a second guitarist in Jimmy Wilson.
