Swedish extreme tech-metal pioneers MESHUGGAH have entered Sweetspot Studios in Sweden to record their ninth studio album and follow-up to their highly acclaimed and Grammy Nominated album, The Violent Sleep Of Reason.

The band comments, “Things are happening. As some of you figured out we have entered Sweetspot Studios and have begun recording a new album. ::Spoiler:: There will be distortion and kicks.

MESHUGGAH Announce European Tour for 2021


Swedish extreme tech-metal pioneers MESHUGGAH are proud to announce their European tour dates for November and December 2021. The band is currently working on the successor of “The Violent Sleep Of Reason”, which was released four years ago. MESHUGGAH will kick-off the European part of the tour on November, 19th in Vienna.
Special guest (except for the Oberhausen Show) will be Swiss/American Post Black Metal act ZEAL & ARDOR.
On top of that, MESHUGGAH annouce a London show for June 3rd, 2022 at the legendary “Royal Albert Hall”!

DECAPITATED re-sign with Nuclear Blast + new music coming soon


After more than ten years of successfully working together, NUCLEAR BLAST is proud to announce that Polish tech death masters DECAPITATED have decided to refresh their bond and have re-signed their contract for another era of extreme metal for the Germany based metal label. Prog/Ambient Metallers ‘Vrona’ announce two new tracks & the addition of a vocalist

Within a year of their inception, Vrona had already performed at Bloodstock and Mammothfest, and shared stages with the likes of Dorje, Cambion, The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing and more. Their first EP ‘A Lapse In Time’ released in early 2016 gained them critical acclaim with their instrumental offerings being compared to a vocal-less mix of Karnivool, TesseracT and Tool.

2017 sees a marked change in the band as they release two new tracks on October 25th and unveil a new twist to their ever evolving sound – the introduction of vocalist Jamie Ball.

The two track release entitled ‘Impermanence’ still showcases Vrona‘s brand of progressive ambient metal. However, the addition of vocals, and the acceptance of more outside influences into their melting pot shows that the band are not afraid to change things up.
