KAMERA OBSCURA is melting the rage of Metal (guitar, bass, drums, clean vocals/harsh vocals) with the atmosphere of original soundtracks (vintage synth sounds, samples) in a world inspired by the masters of genre cinema, from Ted Browning to John Carpenter, Russ Meyer, Dario Argento, George Miller and Kenneth Anger. Remarked while they were opening for Nekrogoblkon and Porn, the band just recorded a 10-track album due for January 2018.
They have just unleashed a new music video for ‘Maniac’, which is the first single taken from the upcoming album titled ‘The Final Cut’. Check out the video below!
LETHVM (doom sludge – Belgium) has signed to label Deadlight (ORACLES, WITCHTHROAT SERPENT, PRIMAL AGE) for the release of their debut album “This Fall SHall Cease”. Formed in Belgium during the year 2015, LETHVMdelivers the perfect blend between hard boiled doom laden sludge and extreme metal. A few months ago, the quartet entered Noise Factory Studio (CHANNEL ZERO) to record their debut album entitled “This Fall Shall Cease” which release is set for the end of the year.
“I came to the knowing of LETHVM when I was attending Roadburn Festival 2016 where Cult of Occult was playing and they introduced to theses guys. Later in november 2016, I saw them live in their hometown in Belgium along with other bands like BATHSHEBA and I was totally impressed by their show!
To say I was impatient to listen to their album is an euphemism and I was quickly conquered by it when they came back to me when the album was recorded” says Deadlight boss Alexandre Martinez

Up and coming rock-act Rylos has released it’s much anticipated second album called ‘Planet’. The album is a follow-up to their debut ‘Game Theory’ which was released last year. A lot has happened over the past year: numerous gigs, changes in line-up, Game Theory´s release in China etc. However probably the biggest event was when young super-talented drummer Misca Muhli, who has been blind all his life, joined the band. Misca is a very good example of what you can achieve when you firmly believe in your dreams and are ready to do some real hard work.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of “The Crimson Idol” – the legendary story of Jonathan Aaron Steele, which was originally intended to be accompanied by a movie, with several hundred hours of film that were shot to create approximately 60 minutes of movie footage. The album is still considered to be the best of W.A.S.P.’s career, and one of the greatest concept albums of all time! It undoubtedly belongs in every metal head’s record collection!
