Over 100 museums from 27 territories have now confirmed their participation in the worldwide premiere of “The War To End All Wars – The Movie” this November, and the list keeps growing.

SABATON THE WAR TO END ALL WARS MOVIE TO BE RELEASED IN 2023
The time has come for SABATON to reveal some BIG NEWS. The band is beyond proud to announce that for the last two years, they have been busy working on an exciting, large-scale project.
In 2023, SABATON will release The War To End All Wars movie, a full-length musical motion picture featuring songs from the band’s 10th studio album, The War To End All Wars. This movie vividly tells the stories of World War I by way of animation and live action. It will give the viewer a better understanding of what the band’s songs on the album are about — it is a musical and historical adventure.
Currently in post-production, the movie is being made in collaboration with Yarnhub Animation Studio. SABATON previously worked with them on other projects, including their most recent animated story video for ‘The Red Baron‘.
The War To End All Wars movie is on a completely different scale that neither the band nor Yarnhub have ever attempted before.

Saturday, June 6, for the first time since its theatrical and DVD release last November, the motion picture Slayer: The Repentless Killogy will make its VIDEO ON DEMAND debut.
The release is in celebration of International Day of Slayer, the annual heavy metal holiday that commemorates the uncompromising, loud and defiant music of the iconic thrash/punk/metal band SLAYER. Since the holiday’s inception 18 years ago, every June 6, Slayer fans have staged a Slay-out, skipping work or school in favour of spending the day listening to Slayer at nuclear blast level, in their car, at home or the public place of their choice. However, this year, to make sure every SLAYER acolyte stays lean and mean, the International Day of Slayer can be saluted in the privacy and comfort of your own home – a Slay-In.

I can remember at school in the 1970s, friends buying Roxy Music albums mainly for their album covers, and I am old enough to remember Cher when she remembered to put her dress on over her underclothes before she came out onto the stage to perform.
Still, time moves on and even now we have any number of female musicians who are an integral part of the Heavy Metal scene. Not just as singers, but guitarists and drummers as well. We were able to catch up with a number of musicians to find out what attracted them to the hard and heavy music world and if they had a story of how they took the plunge, what challenges they faced, and how things have changed, or if they have at all.”
