TOMORROW’S RAIN Releases New Album, ‘Ovdan,’ Today Via AOP Records


Israeli gothic doom metal band TOMORROW’S RAIN has released their highly anticipated sophomore album, Ovdan, today with AOP Records

Hebrew for “Loss,” Ovdan marks the return of vocalist Yishai Sweartz who suffered a near fatal heart attack and open heart surgery in early 2023. After nearly losing everything, Swartz and crew have emerged with resilient spirit and creative force on their most dynamic and ambitious record yet.

The eagerly awaited record, Ovdan, features guest collaborators from MayhemSol InvictusDark FuneralMercyful Fate and Sisters of Mercy to name a few.

Keoma releases the first single “Contact” from the upcoming album


Hybrid Metal group Keoma, founded in 2008, has returned and released a new single called “Contact“. The single nicely combines joyful melody and the suddenly changing moods that the band has followed throughout its existence – a unique, original style breaking genre boundaries.

“The roots of the song are strongly in the 2010s, when we started working on this, but it was never finished. We recently went through demos together and the demo of this song rekindled our interest. I also immediately came up with the idea that the song could talk about today’s problem: Although technology makes communication easier between two people, communication still often seems more difficult than when you used to call your friends on a landline in the ‘are you coming out’ type of way.” Jasse Jatala, responsible for the band’s vocals and lyrics, describes.

Northumbrian  monastic doom instigators Arð team up with My Dying Bride frontman Aaron Stainthorpe for the special double album launch event “Doom in Springtime” at the Dark Earth record store in Liverpool, UK this SundayApril 21 at 17:00 – 18:30 BST

The “Doom in Springtime” event includes a rare solo perfomance by Arð mastermind Mark DeeksAaron Stainthorpe reciting his poetry for the first time in front of an audience, and the first ever unique collaboration of both artists with a surprise live rendition of a classic. In addition to this, both artists will sign their new albums that will be made available ahead of the official release dates for the audience at Dark Earth.

OCEANS OF SLUMBER Release New Single & Video “Where Gods Fear to Speak”


Oceans of Slumber defy any and all convention. For the past 15 years, the Houston band have come to redefine what it means to be Southern Gothic by mixing melodic death, doom and black metal with subtle electronic flourishes and the overpowering heat of their hometown. Now, after signing with Season of Mist, they’re extending their progressive streak even further by envisioning a dark and cinematic new subgenre that’s theirs and theirs alone.

Ahead of their upcoming tour with Lacuna Coil and New Years Day, today, Oceans of Slumber are releasing the first single off their upcoming fifth album.
