Blackened avant-gardists Enslaved have launched into their30th year with thunder and flames. Although their Utgard European Tour will now take place in spring 2022, with support coming from Intronaut, Obsidian Kingdom and Crown, the band are proud to announce four new live albums/DVDs. Out June 25th, the audio and visuals for these releases have been taken from their revered Cinematic Tour 2020,with physical pre-orders launching today.
Italian metal giants LACUNA COIL just announced the release of a new live album, entitled “Live From The Apocalypse”, to be released on June 25th.
“Live From The Apocalypse” is the fruit of an unprecedented time. Unlike previous live efforts the Italians, under the yoke of the pandemic, cleverly devised a way for their devoted fan base to hear and see them on stage by organising a special live stream event performing their latest album, “Black Anima” in its entirety, in September 2020. This very special show will now be released on vinyl and CD as well as a digital album. The physical album formats come with a bonus DVD featuring the footage of the original live stream.

On Thursday, January 7th, Japan issued a state of emergency and all measures were called to prevent further outbreak of the coronavirus. Following all strict guidelines enforced by the country and by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, each performance was carefully monitored to follow all preventative measures: each performance ended by 8:00pm, “Savior Masks” (face masks) were distributed to all fans who came to the show and were to be worn on top of the mask each fan originally had on, etc.
