Swedish luciferian death metal overlords NECROPHOBIC have signed a deal with Century Media Records for the world excluding USA and Canada.
Formed in 1989 NECROPHOBIC belong to the first wave of Swedish death metal bands. Ever since the release of their classic debut album “The Nocturnal Silence” (1993) the band has released a total of seven studio albums, among them timeless masterpieces as “Darkside” (1997), “Bloodhymns” (2002) or the brilliant 2009 album “Death To All”.
Having NECROPHOBIC on the label is not just a nice addition to the label’s impressive roster of Swedish death and black metal bands like Marduk, Watain, Grave, Tribulation, Vampire, Firespawn and more. It’s feels like the completion of the task of bringing together what belongs together.

Crusty Death/Doom outfit VALLENFYRE will release its third album, “Fear Those Who Fear Him”, via Century Media Records on June 2nd, 2017.

INQUISITION are kicking off the second leg of their “Bloodshed Across Europe” tour this April. The fast rising US black metal duo will kick off their rampage at the Royal Metal Fest in the Danish city of Aarhus tonight and then proceed to bring darkness all over Europe throughout the whole month.
INQUISITION commented about this tour: “We are proud to announce our upcoming tour in April, which will take us partly outside of the usual touring circuit. Many of these places we will visit for the first time – expanding the circuit through this second leg for our Bloodshed tour throughout the continent.”
On further news, INQUISITION have already been confirmed for the prestigious Party.San and Bloodstock Open Air festivals this summer.

It was a tricky question… How would Swedish duo Vintersorg continue after 2014’s intriguing album “Naturbål”? Shunning repetition, vocalist and mastermind Andreas „Vintersorg“ Hedlund did the unthinkable and composed a sequel to his groundbreaking 1998 album “Till Fjälls”, which is considered to be one of the most important albums in the genre of black/folk metal!
What to expect from “Till Fjälls del II”? No scientific lyrical concept, no progressive trickery, but a heartfelt return to snowcapped mountains, pure nature-inspired mysticism, Nordic folklore and real black metal with a captivating epic streak. VINTERSORG share a vision of equally harsh and melodic soundscapes that melt the raging extremes of the late 90s with the focus of 2016.

Ahoy sailors! Known for their excellent taste and passion for pirates in metal, Napalm Records welcomes a new band to their diverse and exciting artist roster and label family: YE BANISHED PRIVATEERS have signed a worldwide record deal with Napalm Records! The band’s 3rd studio album titled ‘First Night Back In Port‘ is set to be released on June 30th 2017.
YE BANISHED PRIVATEERS takes you 300 years back in time for an imaginary journey through the harsh life at sea during the early 18th century. With songs inspired by traditional Irish and Scandinavian folk music, acting and elaborate historical clothing the privateers tell a story about the rough sailor’s life, lived on the other side of the law – and the fight against oppression and nationalism.
Together, the nearly 30 crew members take turns to go on tour and plunder, and with around a dozen sailors on stage no two shows are ever the same. The mix of rude folk and punk music invites you to dance and sing along, while the gripping ballads will make the toughest pirate heart soft.
Says the band about their recent signing with Napalm Records: “Spring has finally come to the Gulf of Botnia, and with the rotting ice we are now able to set sail with some extraordinary good news onboard.
