Evanescence Release New Live Version Of ‘My Immortal’
Evanescence has just launched a previously unreleased version of their majestic hit “My Immortal” which was recorded at London’s The O2 on November 14th 2022. The single is certified gold in the US and platinum in Australia. In 2005, it received Grammy and MTV Video nominations for the haunting David Mould-directed video, which was filmed in black and white in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona.

It’s a collection of rare live recordings, made in a small Chicago bedroom during the winter of 1987-88. The 13 songs, jams and grooves highlight TKK’s industrial origins, featuring heavily distorted vocals, jack hammer percussion sounds, and a good ol’ dose of Satanic adoration.
