Finnish Melodic Death Metal Band Callidice Releases a Single From Their Upcoming Album

Finnish melodic death metal band Callidice has released a single ‘More Than a Bond of Blood’ from their upcoming album ‘Anthem for Resistance’ that shall be released on May 18th 2018 via Inverse Records. 

The single as well as the whole album is an concept piece that tells about friendship, brother bond and fear of losing everything important through a story of two brothers. The single and music video features Finnish dark metal/doom metal artist Harri Kauppinen (Beyond The Dream, The Myth Of Autumn, Harri Kauppinen) on guest vocals. Finnish dark metallers Mustan Kuun Lapset release their new single “Ikaros”

The new MKL single presents the band’s new drummer Kalle Takalo. Kalle joined  after the original drummer Mikko Hautala stepped aside in Spring 2017. Musically ‘Ikaros’ continues along the path that the previous album ‘Saatto’(2017) started and also gives a hint about the direction that the band is heading.

Lyrical themes revolve around death and the desperation of life. It might be impossible to prevent that the higher you aim to achieve, the harder you will finally fall.
