Today, COPENHELL announces eight bands that will perform on the festival’s new Boneyard container stage this summer. Boneyard was introduced at last year’s festival as an area that focuses on bands from the massive, dark Danish underground that give concerts straight out of a container, directly into the peoples’ faces, and it was a hugely popular initiative among the COPENHELL audience.

Tons Of Rock delivers two fantastic announcements today! With heroic tributes, backyard boogie, and symphonic metal, this year’s festival dream is coming together at Ekeberg!
Even though the Norwegian legends in Backstreet Girls and Within Temptation belong to two completely different musical worlds — raw, boogie-based hard rock versus symphonic metal — they share some common traits that have made them iconic bands. Both are highly sought after and proudly featured on this year’s Tons of Rock lineup.

22 MORE ARTISTS ADDED TO DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL 2025
Download Festival, the greatest rock and metal festival of all time, has today added a further wave of 22 artists to an already stellar line up for its 22nd edition in 2025. The new additions include Rise Against, Opeth, Myles Kennedy, Shinedown, AWOLNATION, Power Trip, Hatebreed, Palaye Royale, Municipal Waste and more.
