This Friday is going to be a day the multi-Gold and Platinum punk rock band RISE AGAINST will never forget. Rise Against will see Nowhere Generation, its ninth studio album, and first for Loma Vista Recordings, released. In recognition of the album’s release, and Rise Against’s decades-long social justice and political activism that has long informed their music, Mayor Lori Lightfoot has proclaimed June 4 “Rise Against Day in Chicago,” the city where the band originally formed in 1999, and where two of the band members still call home.
It’s been more than thirteen years since SABATON set sail to pursue a way that significantly shaped their career as one of the most successful and popular Swedish heavy metal exports.
On May 30 2008, the band from Falun released their fourth studio album “The Art Of War” – an album made of thirteen tracks, inspired by the thirteen chapters on Sun Tzu’s book “Art Of War”. It was SABATON‘s first concept album to that date.
Celebrating the magical 13th anniversary of this milestone, SABATON has just released an extensive video featuring all songs from “The Art Of War“, allowing fans to experience the album in the way it was meant to be.
Californian quartet Of Mice & Men are proud to release their crushing new EPBloomvia SharpTone Records. Composed of three blistering new songs and entirely self-produced, Bloom is the second EP in a trilogy, set to culminate in the band’s 7th full-length album. The EP artwork was created by talented artist Derek Hess. First EP Timeless was released back in February.

As part of their 30th anniversary revelries, the band has today premiered a live video for their single ‘Fenris’. A classic track from their early arsenal– though black metal to its core, ‘Fenris’ nevertheless hinted at their kosmische obsessions that lurked behind the curtain.
This performance of ‘Fenris’ is taken from their upcoming live release Chronicles of the Northbound (Cinematic Tour 2020), which sees Enslaved fly through a career spanning entirely fan-voted set of favourites.
