“Low” is the first song from the upcoming, yet untitled, album coming in early 2018.
Formed in 2007 by Tom Craig, Sam Varney, Ozzi Osman, Adam Mallabone and James Ryan, the band quickly started working on their first EP. In 2008 with the help of Producer Matt Hyde (As I Lay Dying, Gallows, Funeral for a Friend) Silent Screams self released “Ghosts”. The band signed with Ghost Music and in 2011 released their first full length, “When It Rains”, which was recorded and produced by Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada, Miss May I). They shot a video for the title track and started gaining attention worldwide. Continue reading SILENT SCREAMS Present the New Single “LOW”→
Spanish blackened extreme metal band NOCTEM released their 2016 full-length album, Haeresis, via Prosthetic Records to great buzz. Earlier this year, the band followed up with a separate digital single, “A Cruce Salus”, giving fans a taste of what’s soon to come. Now, the band is thrilled to reveal their brand new music video for the track, via Metal Injection. The video, which features blistering black & white live performance footage, can be viewed here:
In advance of their forthcoming tour, FOSCOR are now streaming a drum play-through for the track “De Marges I Matinades”, which is taken from the band’s fifth full-length, ‘Les Irreals Visions’ (out since June 9th). The clip can be viewed at the link below.
FOSCOR vocalist Fiar comments: “The song title refers to life’s opportunities when we are taken to our limits. The image of a new dawn at the edge of the world speaks of a personal struggle, and how after suffering we should be able to see a door to open at the corner. There is also a sort of challenge for the drums… well, the result speaks for itself about our privilege of having Jordi F. taking care of them.”
Drummer Jordi F. adds: “A song, which from a personal and technical standpoint, required an extra effort in order to create a rhythmic base that could fit the in-crescendo dynamics of the song. On an almost constant syncopated leitmotiv, placing the right amount of strength and cymbal hits to make them commune with the music was almost fully improvised – and hence an interesting exercise. Every time, I listen to or play this song, I feel like adding something new.”

Austin trio Evil Triplet have released the first video from their recently released double LP debut ‘Otherworld’. You can watch the new video for ‘We Are The Aliens’ here: YouTube
The band is currently wrapping up production on a followup album titled Have a Nice Trip for release in early 2018. Vocalist/guitarist Steve Marsh describes the recording:
“We figured that the last record came out so well that we shouldn’t mess with the process: recorded at Sonic Ranch, engineered by Charles Godfrey, produced by Rob Halverson and myself, mixed at Halversonics Recording in Austin, and being mastered by Bob Weston at Chicago Mastering Service. The guitar photo (see below) is a Gibson Futura that once belonged to Billy Gibbons that I got to use during recording.”
The Austin Chronicle recently featured the band, also highlighting vocalist/guitarist Steve Marsh’s extensive background from 70s-80s punk progenitors Terminal Mind, to late-80s industrial-psych Miracle Room and later period noise merchants Wisdom Tooth.
