More than 50 museums spanning 23 countries have already confirmed their participation in SABATON’s unprecedented global museum initiative entitled History Rocks, which revolves around the worldwide premiere of the Swedish heavy metal band’s animated film, The War To End All Wars – The Movie this coming November.
As word of the project spreads, more and more museums are joining the participation list every day. Hitting the 50 mark was a milestone that was anticipated by the band from the very beginning, and this number is expected to rise significantly.

SABATON LAUNCH UNPRECEDENTED ‘HISTORY ROCKS’ CAMPAIGN TO UNITE MUSEUMS ACROSS THE GLOBE + ANIMATED FILM
Swedish heavy metal band SABATON have launched a worldwide museum project entitled ‘History Rocks’. At the centre of this project stands the band’s new animated film, “The War To End All Wars – The Movie”, which is to be screened by participating museums spanning the globe around Armistice Day on 11th November.

SABATON receives The Swedish Skeptics Association’s ‘Enlightener Of The Year Award 2022’
SABATON have been awarded the ‘Englighter of the Year Award 2022 (Årets Folkbildare 2022)’ by The Swedish Skeptics Association (Vetenskap och Folkbildning), making them the first ever rock band to receive this prestigious accolade.
The ‘Enlightener of the Year Award’ is an annual title that began in 1987. It is traditionally presented to academics, authors, journalists and media outlets that go above and beyond what is expected in order to educate people.

SABATON announce ‘Christmas Truce’ pop-up vinyl
In the spirit of Christmas, Swedish metallers SABATON are unveiling their brand new ‘Christmas Truce’ pop-up vinyl to bring in the festive season.
Now available for preorder, this collectible pop-up vinyl pays tribute to the band’s popular track ‘Christmas Truce‘ from the album The War To End All Wars. The vinyl features three variations of the song, including the symphonic version, which is featured on SABATON’s The Symphony To End All Wars. It will be officially released on 23rd December 2022.
