POWERWOLF Finish Recording New Studio Album, Set to be Released in 2024
Furthering their current reign as Germany’s most successful metal band, POWERWOLF has finished recording their highly anticipated new studio album! The chart-topping heavy metal force is set to release the successor to their 2021 album, Call Of The Wild, later in 2024 – stay tuned for more information coming soon.
POWERWOLF is currently preparing for their first ever full North American tour, as well as their biggest European tour to date – the Wolfsnächte 2024 – featuring massive arena shows with top-tier production. On December 3, 2023, POWERWOLF honors the 75th birthday of the Prince of Darkness himself, the legendary Ozzy Osbourne, by releasing a cover of one of the Black Sabbath vocalist’s most famous solo tracks, “Bark At The Moon”! The title track of Ozzy’s celebrated 1983 album, Bark At The Moon, is an immortal classic, and the wolves’ cover of the song is performed in true POWERWOLF style while fully respecting the original version. POWERWOLF Makes History with the use of Augmented Reality at a European Rock / Metal Festival
POWERWOLF set another milestone in their career, and live music as a whole, when they made history with the use of augmented reality at a live music festival in Europe during their headline set at Summer Breeze Festival in Germany! It was one of the biggest productions ever, during which POWERWOLF performed in front of tens of thousands of fans.
Together with ARTE Concert and the 0221 Mediaagentur, using technology used in video games, they created a monstrous wolf above the stage in real time during the set, visible by both fans on site, as well as devotees watching the livestream from all over the world. The wolf was visible four times during the set, during their hits “Incense & Iron”, “Amen & Attack”, “Beast Of Gévaudan” and “Resurrection By Erection”.
