OVER 40 NEW BANDS AND DAY SPLITS ANNOUNCED FOR DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL 2023
The greatest rock and metal festival of all time, Download Festival, announces 44 new names and the day splits for 2023’s mammoth line-up. New names include the blistering Halestorm, Alter Bridge, Neck Deep, Bob Vylan, Carcass, Five Finger Death Punch, Jinjer, Coheed and Cambria, Electric Callboy, Hot Milk and The Amity Affliction, who will join the celebration of Download’s 20-year legacy at the hallowed grounds of Donington Park across four days over 8-11 June 2023. They join headliners Slipknot, Bring Me The Horizon and Metallica, who will deliver two massive no-repeat performances. TYPE O NEGATIVE release live music video for ‘Love You To Death’ + announce ‘Dead Again’ 2LP re-issue
On March 13th 2007, American gothic metal band TYPE O NEGATIVE released their seventh and final studio album, Dead Again. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the band’s final record before the passing of bassist/vocalist Peter Steele.
Last autumn, the Dead Again 3LP re-issue was released in select colours. This coming May 5th, the band will be releasing a 2LP version in black vinyl, light green transparent vinyl, light green/black/whit splatter vinyl, and mint green marble vinyl, as well as a black cassette.

Within Temptation Launch Comic Book Series
Symphonic metal band Within Temptation are bringing their unique vision of the future to comic audiences with a brand new series from Opus Comics based on their 2019 album Resist and 2021 virtual concert Aftermath.
Set in the distant future, an endless battle rages between two species — an advanced but inherently humanoid species ruled by a techno-organic matriarch on one side, and a cruel race of alien artificial intelligences on the other. Multiple stories collide to paint a sweeping portrait of the matriarch’s life and her struggle to balance what she was created to be with the impossible forces that shape her.
