A message from AS I LAY DYING:
“These are concerning and unprecedented times. Amidst the uncertainty of how long the COVID-19 pandemic will last, or how severe its impact will be, there are countless people desperately struggling to weather the storm.
In an effort to make a positive contribution to our communities and the people closest to us, we are releasing a b-side from our ‘Shaped By Fire’ album sessions called ‘Destruction or Strength’. It will be available on all streaming platforms and digital retailers, including Bandcamp as a “pay what you want” download. We will also be selling a t-shirt featuring the single artwork.
David Tonge, organiser of the Festival said, “After an amazing run of 7 years we now come to the eighth and Final ever NLC Festival at The Maze in Nottingham. With nearly £20,000 raised for Child Abuse and Children with Autism we hope that barrier will be broken and we can help even more children this year”
Over the years the Festival has built a great reputation for being a huge party weekend for all the family, with friends coming back year after year to have fun and enjoy some of the best Rock Bands in the UK. This is a weekend when the Bands to come to party, where the supporters and the bands are as one and what an atmosphere it creates, something very very special. With 95 different bands playing over the years and many returning for several festivals we have been really thankful to have so much fantastic support.”
