MOST METAL THING TODAY: Berlin based Robot band “Compressorhead”


Most Metal Thing Today will be our new series to introduce..as you can guess..  the most metal thing today. LOL!

But yeah.. I don’t know how many of you have heard or seen Compressorhead ? Band full of robots, playing covers from bands like Motörhead, Ac/Dc and so.. they’ve  been  popular on the internet since 2013 already.

Compressorhead is a project of Berlin-based artist Frank Barnes and collaborators Markus Kolb and Stock Plum consisting of a robot “band” that plays on real electric and acoustic instruments. The robots are made from recycled parts and are controlled via a MIDI sequencer.”

NE OBLIVISCARIS have released video footage from their first-ever acoustic set at the Bendigo Hotel, Melbourne, Australia. The re-imagining of “Painters of the Tempest: Pt. II, Movement III: Curator” from their most recent album ‘Citadel’

The show was an exclusive event for the Australian progressive visionaries’ Patreon membership that was also given access to a worldwide live stream. The bands Patreon page can be accessed at the link below.
