Texas Rock Band BLACKTOP MOJO has released their second animated video for their two part compilation series, “Darlin I Won’t Tell”. Created by front-man MATT JAMES and bassist CATT MURTIS on the porch of the band’s house in Palestine, TX, with an acoustic guitar, “Darlin I Won’t Tell” unfolded in Nashville with the help of producer PHILIP MOSLEY. The animated video for “Darlin I Won’t Tell” was preceded by “Jealousy / Make Believe” in April.
Coheed and Cambria have shared an acoustic cover of KISS’ “Love Gun” which is streaming now on their official YouTube channel. The band performed the cover for their early entry audience every night on their recent “Great Destroyer Tour” and decided to record it. The new cover coincides with the launch of Coheed and Cambria’s Vaxis II: A Window of the Waking Mind video game which is available to play HERE. Fans can play as the album’s protagonists, Creature or Sister Spider, as they embark on a mission to save their son Vaxis.

”We wanted to play the song live in a place where you could really feel the dilapidation of a broken heart. We snuck into this old church here in Palestine and the natural reverb in the room was incredible. The cracked stained glass and paint peeling from the walls of a place that was once so magnificent was definitely reminiscent of a love that had been lost.” – Matt James
Devin Townsend is currently working on new material for upcoming albums, and for a current lack of touring possibilities and encounters with fans on the road he decided to do a series of live albums, quarantine albums, and generally interesting projects that keep people entertained while he’s busy on his next larger releases.
