Norwegian black metal act ABBATH which is the solo project of former IMMORTAL frontman Abbath have cancelled the rest of their South American tour dates.
The band released a statement today about the cancellation:

Norwegian black metal titans ABBATH are nowreleasing the second new track, taken from their upcoming full length ‘Outstrider’. The album is set for worldwide release on July 5, 2019. IMMORTAL Return With the Title Track to the Album “NORTHERN CHAOS GODS”
Immortal releasing their first album “Northern Chaos Gods” without Abbath on July 6th, 2018 via Nuclear Blast.
Immortal and Abbath parted their ways in 2015 after a legal battle over the band name. Abbath run for solo career and rest, Demonaz and Horgh stayed in Immortal and now we have a chance to listen first song “Northern Chaos Gods” from the upcoming album.

Abbath embark on European festival tour and add more dates in September
Following their rampage through Eastern Europe and Russia last month, ABBATH will kick off their Summer festival tour at the mighty Vienna Metal Meeting in Vienna (AT) this Saturday, May 12th. The Norwegian stalwarts have furthermore added more shows in Europe this September.

Following a snowy show at the spectacular Full Metal Mountain Festival in the Austrian Alps tomorrow, ABBATH will kick off their rampage through Eastern Europe and Russia. The Norwegian stalwarts have furthermore added more festival appearances on their roster for this summer. A list of all currently confirmed dates including festivals can be viewed below.
