Abbath Cancels Remainder Of South American Tour Following 2 Song Set Where Frontman Walks Off Stage

Norwegian black metal act ABBATH which is the solo project of former IMMORTAL frontman Abbath have cancelled the rest of their South American tour dates.

The band released a statement today about the cancellation:

“It is with heavy heart that we have to announce the cancellation of the remainder of the ABBATH South American ‘Outstrider’ tour. Due to health issues that need to be treated, we are unable to complete the last shows in Argentina and Brazil. We deeply apologize to all of our fans that wanted to come and see us, to the local promoters, and to Matrix Entertainment who has worked tirelessly in order to make this tour happen. We hope we can make it up to all you some day. We are very sorry.”

This news comes a day after a disappointing show in Buenos Aires, Argentina where they only played two songs before the frontman dropped his guitar and walked off stage and didn’t come back. Fans are demanding a refund.

Check out some videos of the incident at the show:

Here is another video of him where seems like crying to fans and appears drunk:

ABBATH was touring South America in support of its second album, “Outstrider”, which was released in July via Season Of Mist.
