This is your opportunity to see us in great shape, in  a proper dark place in front of an excellent crowd and perfect atmosphere. Don’t miss our show as we are not touring often, which makes all our live shows a quite unique experience. See you on the road!”

SHARPTOOTH Premiere New Song ‘NO SANCTUARY’ Taken from Debut Album ‘CLEVER GIRL’

Baltimore hardcore band Sharptooth have premiered new song, No Sanctuary. No Sanctuary is taken from their upcoming debut album, Clever Girl, which is released on 27th October via Pure Noise Records.

Speaking on new track No Sanctuary, vocalist Lauren says “This song is about us as LGBTQIA people telling the rest of society how you can and cannot talk to us, and the insidious ways that language shapes the way people interact with and treat each other. The lyric “every time that you say “f*ggot” is a bullet through my head” directly illustrates how hateful slurs and rhetoric lend credence to homophobic views, and negatively impacts the way the world treats people like me. It’s a slur that’s been used against me personally, and against all of the members of this band, queer and straight alike, and it feeds directly into a cycle of hate that has the potential to manifest as violence against us, and other members of the LGBTQIA community.  People say “sticks and stones will break my bones”, but words can and do directly impact our culture and the ways that members of different groups are treated. We can ALL work together to be more mindful of the way we communicate with each other so as to create a safer world for all people”.

SATYRICON Premiere Brand New Video For “To your brethren in the dark”!

With the recent release of their ninth studio album, ‘Deep calleth upon Deep‘, black metal groundbreakers SATYRICON have proven they still lead the way in extreme music. Today they unveil a brand new video for the track ‘To your brethren in the dark‘.

Speaking about the new video, frontman and band visionary, Satyr tells us, “I wanted ‘To your brethren in the dark’ to be a director’s interpretation of the song, rather than a band performance type of thing. Seeing what we do through the eyes of another artist is always interesting to me and just like the song, the video has become a little bit of a journey on it’s own. ‘To your brethren in the dark’ is definitely one of the flagship songs on the record. It is about emotion, our nature, the spirits, the autumn, the sombre and rainy days, those who we lost and the ones who we have not met yet. You could say it is a tribute to the sorrow in man and to the drama of the nature we surround ourselves with. A song for the dark towers of the past and those who will rise in the future. Pass the torch to your brethren in the dark.Continue reading SATYRICON Premiere Brand New Video For “To your brethren in the dark”!
