Behold! I Am The Night release a new music video from their debut album released this coming May on Svart Records.
The new band featuring Finnish metal scene legends opens an ancient chasm of Black Metal, born of an epic tradition.
Rising from the deep valleys of Kymi in southernmost Finland, I Am The Night is Black Metal rooted in the classic early 90’s tradition, where walls of guitars and synthesizers raise the forces of darkness in a battle against the heavens and burning angels light up the night sky.
Bullet For My Valentine will release a deluxe version of their current, self-titled album on July 8th 2022 via Spinefarm/ Search and Destroy. This extended release features 4 brand new tracks, plus “Stitches”, a song previously only available as a Japanese exclusive.
Following the CD & digital releases, a vinyl pressing will launch on November 11th 2022.
Bullet For My Valentine’s seventh studio record sees the band at their heaviest and most visceral, and these additional tracks are no different, offering another round of signature blistering Bullet.
Two weeks ago, Finnish cello-rock quartet APOCALYPTICA released their new single ‘I’ll Get Through It’, featuring Franky Perez (guest vocalist in Apocalyptica’s 2015 record Shadowmaker) and Geezer Butler of BLACK SABBATH on bass guitar. Thursday 7 April – Tomorrow, Pink Floyd will release new music in support of the people of Ukraine entitled ‘Hey Hey Rise Up’.
This is the first new original music that they have recorded together as a band since 1994’s The Division Bell.
The track sees David Gilmour and Nick Mason joined by long time Pink Floyd bass player Guy Pratt and Nitin Sawhney on keyboards and features an extraordinary vocal performance by Andriy Khlyvnyuk of Ukrainian band Boombox.
Rise Against today shared their gripping new video for Nowhere Generation single “Talking To Ourselves”—a stand-out track about falling to complacency and feeling as though no one is listening—that features evolving and cryptic transmissions for fans to discover via QR codes and encouraged to follow over the next few weeks. “The intention behind the video was to yet again shed light on us as a society and to expand on the feeling that we have progressively lost our humanity. In our video, the QR codes represent little windows to the world outside of our bubbles, only to be dismissed and swiped onto the next event,” explains director Ryan Valdez. “It feels so bleak. Heartbreaking headlines are so disposable and just another hashtag buried in the news of celebrity gossip and trending dances. As we watch and Tim sings ‘Are we talking to ourselves,’ I hope it reminds us to be human, listen, speak up and do better.”
Popular music, popular artists should always strive to surprise listeners – with good ideas, powerful and at times unexpected content, as well as great songs – something that Rammstein succeeds in doing again and again.
At any rate, the rumour that emerged at the beginning of April that the Berlin band had invested in a “beauty clinic” by the name of “Zick Zack” certainly spread like wildfire.
