Influential Swedish heavy metal giants IN FLAMES are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal, critically acclaimed album, Clayman, this year with a special edition that’s due out on August 28th from Nuclear Blast Records.

The band has released the record’s first trailer in which vocalist Anders Fridén and guitarist Björn Gelotte discuss working with Blake Armstrong on the reimagined cover artwork for Clayman 20th Anniversary Edition. Pre-order the record here.

Saturday, June 6, for the first time since its theatrical and DVD release last November, the motion picture Slayer: The Repentless Killogy will make its VIDEO ON DEMAND debut.

The release is in celebration of International Day of Slayer, the annual heavy metal holiday that commemorates the uncompromising, loud and defiant music of the iconic thrash/punk/metal band SLAYER. Since the holiday’s inception 18 years ago, every June 6, Slayer fans have staged a Slay-out, skipping work or school in favour of spending the day listening to Slayer at nuclear blast level, in their car, at home or the public place of their choice. However, this year, to make sure every SLAYER acolyte stays lean and mean, the International Day of Slayer can be saluted in the privacy and comfort of your own home – a Slay-In.

CELLAR DARLING will participate in Tohuwabohu Festival on June 21st: a stream-only, pay-what-you-want event broadcast live from a legendary Swiss venue, with full stage production, audio and lights. Also on the lineup are Swiss metal legends SAMAEL, ILLUMISHADE (featuring Fabienne Erni & Jonas Wolf of ELUVEITIE), and KASSOGTHA. The festival is organised on principles of fairness and accessibility to all metalheads all around the world, with all bands receiving a share of all revenues and a portion of proceeds being passed on to a range of music-related charities.
