Today, Ukrainian progressive metal band JINJER released new merch designs to help raise funds to support their country. You can read the full statement here:
“Thank you all for your concerned messages and prayers sent to us over the last week, we may not answer but we are reading them and they mean the world to us. As you know, there is war raging through the streets and cities of Ukraine right now. Many people have little or no food or water and are very afraid of what tomorrow may bring. Together with Napalm Records, we’re releasing two new T-Shirt designs to raise funds to be donated to various charities throughout Ukraine to help with medical and food supplies, water and so on. If you cannot donate then please share this or any news related to what’s really happening here. Each sale may save somebody’s life in Ukraine. Thank you.“

Right before the start of their extensive US tour with Norwegian peers Mayhem, notorious Swedish black metal collective Watain has unveiled ‘Serimosa‘ – the second single from their upcoming new studio album, The Agony & Ecstasy Of Watain, which will be released on April 29th, 2022.
‘Serimosa‘ sees a shift in pace from its furious predecessor ‘The Howling‘, heading towards more of a gloomy and Gothic landscape, yet bearing the unmistakable black mark of Watain. Lyrically, its contemporary acuteness and prophetic quality is just as unnerving as it is comforting.
Swedish Power metal heroes and history buffs are back, and like their previous album 2019’s ‘The Great War’, this new tenth assault, ‘The War To End All Wars’, deals with the First World War. The band had plenty more stories to tell from that time, so they continued with this theme, and the result is some of their best and most epic tales of battles yet.
“Twenties” is the latest advance offering from IMPERA, the imminent fifth album from GRAMMY-winning Swedish theatrical rock outfit GHOST, heralding its arrival March 11 via Loma Vista Recordings.
With its messianic promises of reigns of pennies and piles of moolah set to an appropriately manic musical backdrop, the unrelenting and propulsive “Twenties” stands in stark contrast to its Pre-IMPERA predecessor, the eerily hypnotic “Call Me Little Sunshine.” In fact, the apocalyptically prophetic vibe of “Twenties” – particularly its lyrical relevance to to historical events unfolding on the world stage (however incidental) – render the song utterly unique in the Ghost canon.
