TEAR DROP PAYS TRIBUTE TO RILEY GALE & WADE ALLISON WITH CATHARTIC COVER OF TYPE O NEGATIVE’S “LOVE YOU TO DEATH”
In the wake of the tragic deaths of fellow Texan musicians, vocalist Riley Gale (POWER TRIP) and guitarist Wade Allison (IRON AGE), TEAR DROP is paying homage to the hometown friends with a cathartic cover of TYPE O NEGATIVE‘s song “Love You To Death.” The track can be found on the band’s upcoming EP, “Did You Wanna Love Me To Death,” that’s out on September 25th via Static Era Records.

COMIC PUBLISHER DC INVITES RISE AGAINST TO PROVIDE LEAD TRACK FOR “DARK NIGHTS: DEATH METAL” ORGINAL SOUNDTRACK
At the invitation of DC, multi-Gold and Platinum-selling punk rock stalwarts Rise Against will see its brand new song, “Broken Dreams, Inc.” as the lead-off track on Dark Nights: Death Metal The Original Soundtrack, the companion to DC’s recently launched, seven-issue comic book series, “Dark Nights: Death Metal.” Executive produced by composer Tyler Bates (“Guardians of the Galaxy,” the “John Wick” franchise, “Dawn of the Dead” reboot), who is also penning music for the score, the album’s songs were written and performed by some of Rock and Metal’s finest, all inspired by the comic series’ storyline. “Broken Dreams, Inc.” will be released Wednesday, September 16 on Loma Vista Recordings, while the soundtrack’s confirmed release date, complete artist line up, and full tracklisting will be announced shortly.

Finnish folk metal band Elvenscroll release first single & music video from their upcoming EP release
Finnish Kerava-based folk metal band Elvenscroll is set to release their debut EP Never To Be Mourned on November 6th 2020 via Inverse Records. This seven members strong group released a first single Wayfarer’s Mourning today and it gives a good hint what is to be expected from an EP.
