Bloodway Release New Video “Midlight Scout” & Album Details

Bloodway_A_Fragile_Riddle_Crypting_Clues_FRONT 900.jpg

Romania’s BLOODWAY will release a new album on 3rd November 2017. The video of “Midlight Scout”,the first single coming from the album “A Fragile Riddle Crypting Clues” is out now!

Romania’s BLOODWAY cement their relationship with I, Voidhanger Records by releasing “A Fragile Riddle Crypting Clues”, the closing chapter of a trilogy which started in 2014 with the “Sunstone Voyager And The Clandestine Horizon” EP and continued the following year with the band’s first full-length, “Mapping The Moment With The Logic Of Dreams”. Lead by Costin Chioreanu, one of the most celebrated graphic artists within today’s metal field, BLOODWAY blend black metal, progressive metal, heavy rock and psychedelia in equal parts, forging a very peculiar style that revolves around deep emotions and dark inner visions, exactly like Chioreanu’s surreal art. “In this new chapter the same character from the previous albums returns to the world of humans, but with a different and larger perspective, animated by his experiences and mental transformations,” Chioreanu explains. “The world is nothing but a prison, with virtual walls risen from the controlled collective intellect, where all the prisoners are locked in by themselves. Everyone is free to go and live outside the so-called system, but nobody really wants to leave the cells for the unknown.” It’s a concept made of disenchantment and melancholy, and yet the album is more aggressive than BLOODWAY’s past material, as well as extremely dark. “In this prison, our character buries his achieved illusions about humanity and rediscovers memories from childhood,” Chioreanu continues; “he is attacked by chimeras, fears imposed by will, but at the same time he reaches illumination by simply accepting reality in it’s complete and horribly deceiving splendor. So he realizes that everything is nothing but a matter of perception.” From the
lyrical perspective, “A Fragile Riddle Crypting Clues” is BLOODWAY’s most introspective record, one that truly investigates Costin Chioreanu’s spirit, as underlined by two intense spoken words recited by Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates) and Mat McNerney (Hexvessel). “I never spoke straight about my personal experiences and personal life the way I am doing now,” he says. “I felt truly free and confident with myself doing this record, and that fueled its specific nature. I think our goal as aband was to bring into this world a very special record, by all means. I am deeply confident that we succeeded.”

TORMENTOR Detail New Album “Morbid Realization”

TORMENTOR  Detail New Album “Morbid Realization”

The release date of the TORMENTOR album  “Morbid Realization”  on CD is March 17th, 2017.

The east German Thrash Metal band TormentoR was formed in the year 2006 by Max Seipke in the age of 12 years. Together with producer Evil (Evil Studios) they recorded the first demo „Lesson in Aggression“ in 2007, which was released in the following year.

Shortly after the release of it, Thomas Wedemeyer became the new drummer of the band. With the demo and some new songs they took over the road as a two-pieced band for the next two years. The demo mostly got good feedback by fanzines as Metal Guardian or Headbangers Zine from the Netherlands. But the biggest compliment came from the Kreator mastermind Mille Petrozza himself, as he praised the band in a radio station interview!

In the year 2010 the band went into the studio, once again with producer Evil, to record their debut album “Violent World”. After the recording was done, Christian Schomber on bass and Kevin Hauch on the rhythm guitar became new members of the band. “Violent World” was released in 2012 via Iron Shield Records. The album mostly got good feedback from Rock Hard, Metal Hammer, Heavy and many more! Following the release they toured through Saxony, Brandenburg and Poland and established their name in the underground scene.

2013 and 2014 there mostly used for writing new songs, which was recorded end of 2016. The result will be released as CD/ LP and Download/Streaming again via Iron Shield Records!

US Avant-sludge punkers Heavy Baby Sea Slugs are back with “Teenage Graveyard Party”, a four-song slammer of an EP which is set to be released on January 21st, 2017.

Hailing from the state of Texas, the band will be touring Japan and Taiwan during January 2017.

Biography:

“Let’s get one thing straight: We’re only writing this because we have to, because we’ve been told it’s the right thing to do, to move on up in the industry. Fuck that shit. We’ve never been the kind of band that does things the right way, and that’s why three and a half years into this ride we still don’t have a goddamned band Facebook or band tweeter. We have better things to do than talk about ourselves. Not doing things the right way means that the Slugs have done it all wrong… right? We spent our time digging for killer riffs, consuming P.B.R. by the gallon, even touring Japan before our home country, all on top of releasing at least an album a year. So far. Do you even know how many amps we’ve had to bury in our quest for eternal tone? Do you wanna see the amplifier graveyard? It’s sick. One could say the Slugs are an avant-garde heavy metal collective, which sounds pretentious ~as fuck~ but is actually closer to the point. Hell sometimes we resemble a gang more than a band. This dude tried to rip us off for some T-shirts once so we showed up at his house and collected. Around that time we were working (or finished?) our first album, a softy we called Evelyn McHale’s Psychedelic Freakout… A macabre reference to a most infamous suicide. Google that shit. Even though we don’t play off it anymore, the Freakout ages like fine wine or acid. After we got over Evelyn we started writing mad riffs and soon enough found ourselves at the house recording a 14-track crusty slab called Fistula Missile. We blew out the mix and never looked back. That album is a prime example of an eclectically lo-fi piece of sludge punk that sounds like crap but beats with a heart of gold. Check out the track 1,000 Dead Hipsters. It’s a favorite. This was the time of the Party-Slugs, when we still got invited to play at peoples’ houses, our shit stacked to the ceiling. The cops made sure that didn’t last long. We don’t play houses anymore… So, feeling unloved, the Slugs retreated back into our den where we concocted our third full length over the transitional period of ’14 to ’15, a decidedly depressing and downright bleak drone affair entitled 1950DA. That’s the name of a real life asteroid with the highest probability of smashing into Earth somewhere around the year 2800. ~Shout-out~. Yadda yadda yadda somewhere along the way we collectivized ourselves and started releasing shit as a label, Heavy Baby Records, putting out CDs and tapes for our friends and scene comrades and yadda yadda yadda the Slugs eventually yielded a 7″ single… Currently we’re following that badboy up with Teenage Graveyard Party, a four-song slammer of an EP that we are pressing onto some sick clear 10″ wax along with a limited run of Japanese-pressing CDs just in time for us to once more ravage the East in January 2017. Thus is the story of the Slug so far.”
