House of Broken Promises announce Twisted EP

Indio, CA’s heavy stoner desert rock trio House of Broken Promises announce a new EP featuring 2 unreleased songs, 2 covers (one of Black Sabbath and one of Billy Squier) plus a bunch of outtakes and live songs for a running time of about 30 minutes of music. It is available for pre-orders on September 1st and can be heard HERE.

 

The former Unida musicians reiterate their successful formula with Mike Cancino’s powerful drumming, guitarist and producer Arthur Seay’s wall of riffs, and Joe More’s wonderful John Garcia-esque vocals. Twisted was recorded at Arthur Seay’s studio in Indio, near the Joshua Tree area which has inspired so many stoner/desert rock bands. Artwork was designed by Italian artist and HPS favorite Solo Macello.

Twisted will be available on LP and download on October 6th on Heavy Psych Sounds. Pre-orders are available HERE.

THEIA release new single ‘Home’

THEIA have released their new single ‘Home’ on 18th August 2017.

This track is simply wonderful, a feather light touch from Kyle & the boys, a song brimful of lilting melodies, acoustic guitars and soaring emotions, really something rather special.

Hailing from the heart of England’s ale brewing capital, on the edge of the National Forest, Burton-on-Trent three-piece, THEIA, have harnessed the rugged terrain of the Peak District to bring the world their blend of hard rock n roll. It’s a classic rock feel for the modern era, played with a smile on it’s face.

KING PARROT announce tour with DECAPITATED

Australia’s notorious metal villains KING PARROT revealed European tour plans in support of their recently announced studio album, “Ugly Produce”. The band will hit the road with death metal giants DECAPITATED for a 29-date run (inlcuding 10 dates in the UK alone) in October and November 2017. Additional support will come from Thy Disease and Venom Prison. Vocalist Matt “Youngy” Young commented: “We’ve been working hard on our new album down in Australia, and we honestly believe this record is not only a continuation of our trademark sound, but a progression into new territory in terms of songwriting and

BROKEN HOPE – touring Europe with Cattle Decapitation in September

Chicago’s BROKEN HOPE will be heading back to European shores this September as part of the bone-crushing HELL ON EARTH TOUR 2017 package. The band will be joined by young guns GLORYHOLE GUILLOTINE, Italian tech-heads HIDEOUS DIVINITY and the grindin’ headliner, CATTLE DECAPITATION.

Jeremy Wagner commented on the forthcoming dates, “It’s been a few years since we toured Europe–and BROKEN HOPE is more than excited to come back! And what an amazing way to return, especially with a sick and devastating tour package that has CATTLE DECAPITATION, BROKEN HOPE, HIDEOUS DIVINITY, and GLORYHOLE GUILLOTINE!!! We’re playing some cities we’ve never done before on this run and we look forward to mutilating your ears and minds! We have assembled quite the setlist for this European tour. IMPLORE studio report for new album “Subjugate” online, tour with Gadget announced

IMPLORE have finished the recording for their new album “Subjugate”, which is scheduled to be released on September 22nd through Century Media Records. The band has documented the recording and prepared three studio reports for you. The first one can be viewed as of today. Check it out and prepare yourself for the coming storm!

“Subjugate”, the follow-up album to the highly praised debut “Depopulation”, is going to be released on CD, LP and digitally. The LP is co-released with IMPLORE’s former label Pelagic Records.

In late October IMPLORE will team up with Sweden’s legendary grind/crust outfit Gadget to spread the gospel of grind upon Europe. Be sure not to miss one of the best and most energetic bands of the extreme music scene!
