The Halo Effect announce debut album “Days Of The Lost” and reveal video for title track
After making a big impression with their debut single “Shadowminds” and the follow up single “Feel What I Believe”, The Halo Effect have announced their debut album, set for release on August 12th, and have released a third single and video for the album’s title track “Days Of The Lost”.
The band featuring guitar heroes & songwriting wizards Jesper Strömblad and Niclas Engelin (ex- IN FLAMES), singer Mikael Stanne (DARK TRANQUILITY), as well as former IN FLAMES members Peter Iwers and Daniel Svensson, present another masterclass in Swedish melodic death metal.

Two weeks ago, Finnish cello-rock quartet APOCALYPTICA released their new single ‘I’ll Get Through It’, featuring Franky Perez (guest vocalist in Apocalyptica’s 2015 record Shadowmaker) and Geezer Butler of BLACK SABBATH on bass guitar. Rise Against today shared their gripping new video for Nowhere Generation single “Talking To Ourselves”—a stand-out track about falling to complacency and feeling as though no one is listening—that features evolving and cryptic transmissions for fans to discover via QR codes and encouraged to follow over the next few weeks. “The intention behind the video was to yet again shed light on us as a society and to expand on the feeling that we have progressively lost our humanity. In our video, the QR codes represent little windows to the world outside of our bubbles, only to be dismissed and swiped onto the next event,” explains director Ryan Valdez. “It feels so bleak. Heartbreaking headlines are so disposable and just another hashtag buried in the news of celebrity gossip and trending dances. WATAIN premiere video for new single ‘We Remain’ feat. Farida Lemouchi
Today, notorious Swedish black metal collective Watain are proud to unveil the third and final single from their upcoming new studio album, The Agony & Ecstasy Of Watain, which will be released on April 29th 2022.
The song is called ‘We Remain’ and it represents the deepest shadow of the album, a profound contemplation on the winding abyss of the past.
